Of
our four demo albums this is the one I listen
to the least- in hindsight it sounds like we were
overreaching ourselves a lot. Most of the songs
were brand new, and hadn't had the benefit of
a year's worth of gigs to evolve, hence the second
half of nebulous art-rock fluff. Many of the lyrics
haven't aged too well either. It's not unlistenable,
but it does sound rushed now. It sounded like
a great idea at the time and just doesn’t
live up to itself anymore, but several of the
tunes have gone on to bigger and better things.
