Dubious Ventures is my blog, where I've been spewing out semi-coherent gonzo crap since about 2003. The writing quality has varied wildly, but it's a blog, so...who cares? Anyway, late last year I decided to totally reboot the whole thing, using tags, into more of a compilation of my best stuff, albeit with a few random observations still popping up.

Dubious Ventures is also the name of a book I'm assembling, of all my best (and not-so-best) stuff from the past decade-plus of writing, a la Hunter Thompson's Great Shark Hunt and Norman Mailer's Advertisements for Myself. Dubious Ventures: Derivative Observations of a Coddled Consciousness currently has five parts, which you can have a look at with the links at right:
